Consumer Laurel is one of the first and at the same time the most significant consumer certificates in Poland. It has been organized since 2004. Winners are selected through a telephone and online survey. Every year about 300 categories are surveyed, and in each of them a group of three laureates is selected, who – depending on the results of the survey – receive a gold, silver or bronze emblem. The plebiscite provides an answer to one of the basic questions: which products/services are currently the most popular in their group. It is a confirmation of the strong position of the awarded brands in the demanding market, and thus a form of collective recommendation.
Survey respondents cast only one vote per category, with the provision that they may vote in multiple categories. In the 2022 edition, the survey was conducted online and included: the websites of Wyborcza.pl Group, articles and thematic sections of Gazeta Prawna Group, the websites of Polska Press Group. The Bruk brand received the elite title: Gold Consumer Laurel 2022 in the category Quality and innovation of the construction industry thanks to 46% of votes cast.
